Who is LJ MTX?
The Producer: In just a few short years, LJ MTX has rapidly emerged as one of the most successful artists from USA’s Nation’s Capital. His recent accolades support such a claim to fame with multiple Beatport Top 100 tracks, Top 10 Releases and several front page featured releases in 2011. LJ’s most noteworthy releases through PeakHour Music are along side familiar names like Deadmau5, Lazy Rich, DJ Dan and Donald Glaude, earning him support from some of the biggest names the industry has to offer. January, 2012 marked the launch of his 2nd record label, PhetHouse Records, and the release of his first ever artist album, “The Addiction.” The release debuted in the Beatport Electro Top 10 and earned a spot in the Top 80 for all genres within just a few days. To give back to his fans for their support, he has recently started releasing several free tunes which can be found on his Soundcloud page.
The DJ: In addition to his success as a producer, LJ MTX is no novice behind the decks. With over a decade of DJing under his belt, DC’s number 3 DJ of 2010 and 2012 has traveled across the country and overseas punishing dance floors, massive’s and festivals and has provided support for The Crystal Method, MSTRKRFT, Boys Noize, Steve Aoki, Lazy Rich, DJ Dan, Charles Feelgood, Bad Boy Bill, John B, Wolfgang Gartner and Porter Robinson.
